What You Need
symbol.army runs in the browser. Apart from a supported browser on a supported operating system, the only requirement is that JavaScript is enabled. Nothing has to be installed. You can optionally install it as an app for quicker access; the same browser requirements apply.
Use an up-to-date browser. The table shows the oldest versions that work, but the latest release of your browser gives the best result and also receives security fixes.
How to Check Your Browser Version
- Open the menu of your browser.
- Choose the About entry, for example About Google Chrome under Help in Chrome. Safari shows its version in the Safari menu under About Safari.
- The page shows the installed version. If a newer version is available, the browser offers to update it.
- Restart the browser and open symbol.army again.
Troubleshooting
The page stays blank or buttons do not respond. Check that your browser is listed in the table above and that JavaScript is enabled. If you use Opera or Internet Explorer, switch to one of the supported browsers.
You see an old version after the browser was updated.
Reload the web application with Ctrl + F5. This forces a fresh load and checks for a new release of symbol.army. See Update for details.
A browser extension or company policy blocks the page. Content blockers and strict company settings can stop scripts. Try a private window without extensions, or ask your IT department to allow the web application.
